Junior Golf Tournament

This tournament is sanctioned by the SC Junior Golf Association and players
are eligible to earn points towards the Heritage Classic Foundation Rankings

Played every year over Thanksgiving Weekend, this exciting Junior Tournament is a popular event for the entire family. All golfers up to 18 years of age are entered based on age. There are both male and female divisions, and for the fourth year in a row, the tournament is expanded to 3 rounds and limited to the first 420 entries.

The "George Holliday Memorial" Junior Golf Tournament was established to honor a successful junior and collegiate golfer who was tragically killed in 1967 in an automobile accident at the age of 22. This Galivants Ferry, S.C. native believed that his experience as a junior golfer was paramount in molding him into the fine young man he became. His family created this tournament to give more juniors this opportunity.

GLORY DAYS Alumni Golf Classic

WHO GETS BRAGGING RIGHTS?

You and 3 fellow golfers from your alma mater will team up against 100 other 4-person teams in a Ryder Cup-like format. There will be tailgating and great prizes. You'll be able to hang out with your college brethren in an unmatched atmosphere. However, the best part of this golf tournament isn't the prizes or the party. It's the chance to drain a 10-footer on the 54th hole to take down your school's most bitter rivals.

This 54-hole event will be held on four of Myrtle Beach's premier South Strand courses; Willbrook Plantation Golf Club, Caledonia Golf & Fish Club, Pawleys Plantation and TPC of Myrtle Beach. Course assignments will be determined by draw at the Wednesday Pairings Party on May 16, 2007.

Each team will consist of four players from the same college with each possessing an establish USGA handicap.
