MYRTLE BEACH NATIONAL COMPANY CHOSEN TO MANAGE WACHESAW PLANTATION EAST GOLF CLUB August 27, 2009, Myrtle Beach, S.C. – The Myrtle Beach National Company announced today that it has assumed day-to-day management of Wachesaw Plantation East Golf Club in Murrells Inlet. A leading golf course ownership and management company operating ten Grand Strand courses, The Myrtle Beach National Company will oversee the outside operations, pro shop, maintenance and marketing of Wachesaw Plantation East, which opened in 1996 and is the site of four nationally-televised LPGA tour events. “We’re excited that the owners of Wachesaw Plantation East chose the Myrtle Beach National Company to manage this great facility,” said Jim Woodring, vice president of golf marketing and operations for the Myrtle Beach National Company. “We have been approached in the past to manage area courses and have been very selective to create relationships with courses that fit into our current operations.
