All 9 Myrtle Beach National Company golf courses (The Prime Time Signature Courses) have been awarded four or more stars int he 2008 Golf Digest "Best Places to Play Guide."
The guide is a publication by Golf Digest that reviews public and private golf courses throughout the U.S.
Readers submit ballots based on their visits to golf courses over a two-year period. Each course must receive at least 10 ballots to be considered and the rating takes into account the golfer's overall experience at the courses. tje services provided to the golfer, the course's perceived value and the pace of play.
Six Myrtle Beach National courses received four-and-a-half-stars: King's North at Myrtle Beach National, Litchfield Country Club, Long Bay Club, West Course at Myrtle Beach National, River Club and Willbrook Plantation. Aberdeen Country, Southcreek at Myrtle Beach National and Waterway Hills were each awarded four stars.
Four stars tells golfers that the course is "Outstanding. Plan your next vacation aroud it." The five-star ranking is "Superb Golf at its absolute best. Pay any price to play at least once in your life."
