Just minutes outside of the Myrtle Beach area, Meadowlands Golf Club offers a down-home feel even when you’re away from home. Designer Willard Byrd used his creativity and skill in transforming this old farmland into a timeless classic.
You will use every club in your bag as you navigate your way around the 7,054 yards carved through towering pines and natural wetlands. As you play, the views are amazing with diverse wildlife including a few alligators. Meadowlands features five sets of tees to accommodate golfers of all skill levels, and large rolling fairways coupled with well-defined hazards make this a fair test for every golfer.
Known for being women friendly, Meadowlands Golf Club in Myrtle Beach has been included in Golf For Women Magazine’s list of the top 100 women friendly golf courses in the United States. Meadowlands has been recently renovated as well, with the installation of new ultra dwarf TifEagle Bermuda greens. Recent reviews of the new greens by the Myrtle Beach Golf Insider highlight their perfect speed and smoothness. Excellent conditions and great customer service make Meadowlands Golf Club a must-play when you visit the Myrtle Beach area.

Great course, better if you have your "A" game, but very playable and enjoyable for all golfers. I will play again and recommend highly.

Course in great shape considering how much rain fell the previous weekend from Tropical Storm Ana. Looking forward to playing again along with Farmstead when everything is drier.

Enjoyed the whole experience and would definitely play it again. Most holes had wide open fairways where you could see everything in front of you with no guessing on where to hit the next shot.

Course was fun to play but bag drop/ starter reception was poor. Don't enjoy courses where paying public is treated as a bother.

Enjoyed playing but it rained most of day so a little tough to comment on except that the staff was very friendly and did not rush us. Thanks!
Recently, LPGA instructor & 2014 Mrs. South Carolina America Meredith Kirk dropped in on Meadowlands Golf Club to visit head pro Jason Monahan, who showed Meredith the prominent features of one of its newly renovated holes. This video showcases the new player-friendly features of the par-4 3rd hole on this North Strand golf course, in Calabash, NC.
Not many courses can transplant players so far away from their nearby surroundings. Architect Willard Byrd found a way to do it at Meadowlands Golf Club near Myrtle Beach. For the golf club located in Calabash just a few miles from the South Carolina border, Byrd took an empty canvas and crafted 18 holes that take players onto the farm, toward a lake and then back again, often on the same hole.
The northern end of the Grand Strand is the perfect place to tee off on a one-of-a-kind Myrtle Beach golf vacation, with five award-winning Prime Times Signature golf courses in this area to greet you as part of The Gateway Collection.
