The Grande Dunes Resort Club is one of the premier championship golf courses on the East Coast. Conveniently located in the heart of Myrtle Beach, this Roger Rulewich Group design was recognized as the National Golf Course of the Year by the National Golf Course Owners Association in 2009, and will play host to the 2014 PGA Professionals National Championship.

The challenging links-style design is situated on a bluff along the Intracoastal Waterway featuring seven holes with dramatic views of the waterway. With six sets of tees, generous fairways, and newly upgraded Champion Bermuda greens, the Grande Dunes Resort Club offers a truly exciting Myrtle Beach golf experience for all levels of ability. Complementing the outstanding course is a world-class practice facility. With an expansive two-tiered driving range and three large practice greens for putting, chipping, and pitching, the Resort Club is great a venue to hone your skills. All aspects of the practice area are included with your round, along with unlimited range balls.

After your round, relax with us in the Mediterranean-style clubhouse featuring a full-service golf shop that specializes in TaylorMade equipment and Adidas apparel. Its full-service restaurant and bar offers casual indoor seating. The Waterway Terrace is available for outdoor seating with great views overlooking the Grande Dunes Marina and the 18th green.

My wife & I played this course today with great expectations. This is a very impressive track that is very eye appealing and great fun to play. The greens were punched 10 days ago, but still ran fairly true. The tee boxes were in great shape, fairways were in great shape. Range balls were provided and the practice facilities are the best I've seen in Myrtle Beach so far. Greens in regulation usually equate to low scores, not on this course, the greens are huge. It is important to be under the hole here putting uphill. If I have any complaints about this course is that it sounds like a freeway running thru the center of the course. Other than that, a great golfing experience. Great reuben sandwich in the clubhouse. Would definately recommend this course.

I would have liked to have know that the course does not have GPS systems in the carts anymore. since it doesn't have GPS, it is really no different than any other course and therefore was not worth the money i paid to play. ($68)

Very playable course. Nice clubhouse, everything very enjoyable. A must play. Only reason I rated staff a little below perfect is they are all over and we had a rude guy on a lawnmower complain that we hit our balls off the tee without warning him on a dogleg where we could not see him.

Very disappointed we did not realise that there's 2 courses Never in Compass Cove they informed us about that Our golf vacations was for the best and the private course was not the one we would like to play!
