The PineHills Golf Course is one of two championship courses at Myrtlewood Golf Club. Noted golf course architect Arthur Hills redesigned this course in 1993, accentuating a blend of rolling terrain and tree lined fairways located in the heart of Myrtle Beach.

This award-winning course appeals to golfers of all ability. It is playable for the mid to high handicapper, and offers plenty of risk-reward options for the lower handicapper. The contours of the greens blend in very well with the rolling terrain, and bunkering and water hazards are well placed throughout the layout. Both nines start off fairly straightforward and progressively test the golfer as they get to the finish.

Myrtlewood Golf Club offers a great practice facility and a full-service clubhouse. It is located along the scenic Intracoastal Waterway and is a short drive from any hotel along the nearby Myrtle Beach coastline, making it one of the most convenient courses to visit in the area.

The tees, greens, fairways and ROUGH were all green and nice. Most course do NOT manicure the rough, but Myrtlewood does! It's a little slow but who cares, very good time!

The course was relatively open which made it quite forgiving, but with plenty of water to lose your ball in. The course was well marked out with distances to the pin up until 75 yards.

Great Course, if you are not hitting it straight you are going to have a long day. The key to this course is not to try to over power it. Just take out a club that will get you to the 150 yard marker and take it from there.
