Professional golfers, athletes and celebrities from far and wide descended upon The Dye Club at Barefoot Resort on April 14, 2014 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of a Myrtle Beach golf rite of passage: the Hootie &amp; The Blowfish Monday After the Masters Celebrity Pro-Am, to benefit children’s educational programs and junior golf in South Carolina. Dean Felber, Hootie &amp; The Blowfish member: It&#8217;s been 20 bad long drives (laughing) …
Mark Bryan: It&#8217;s just amazing to actually be here 20 years later, saying that we&#8217;re still hosting a golf tournament. When we started this out, you don&#8217;t think long-term like that, so … It&#8217;s been a nice surprise.
Dean Felber: And just what it&#8217;s become. You know, the tournament, with Myrtle Beach and Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday and Barefoot Resort … I don&#8217;t know how you can make it any better than this.
