During a day on the links in Myrtle Beach, golfers intentionally avoid sand and water but, when the sun goes down, the focus shifts from telling the age-old “alligator ate my golf ball” story to gazing at beach and waterway views, devouring plates of fresh-caught fish and harmonizing with dueling piano virtuosos. In this article we focus on three entertainment venues in particular which will provide you with plenty of snapshot memories (both day and night) depending on whether you are in north, central or south Myrtle Beach.

Family-friendly yet with an adult vibe, you’ll find unique shops as well as numerous restaurants to tempt any taste bud or budget. Feel like a burger? <a href="http://www.rivercitycafe.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">River City Café</a> scores big on juicy ground beef in a relaxing atmosphere. Is your mouth watering for shrimp or salmon? Look no further than Flying Fish Public Market and Grill where kids line up to catch fish being thrown at them while parents nibble on some of the best shrimp dip with homemade wontons in the area!
 
Whether you prefer fire or water, <a href="https://www.broadwayatthebeach.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Broadway at the Beach</a> shines brightly every evening for your entertainment. Fireworks set the water ablaze several times per week (be sure to check the schedule) and, if you prefer to be surrounded by sharks and a unique variety of fish, you will want to explore <a href="https://www.ripleyaquariums.com/myrtlebeach/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Ripley’s Aquarium</a> more than once. For golfers who want to practice putting for their next round, Dragon’s Lair is a fun, family challenge complete with a fire-breathing dragon. The only thing you might be questioning at this mega-complex is “where do we eat and where’s the music?” The answer is…all around you! <a href="http://www.broadwayatthebeach.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Broadway at the Beach </a>has twenty-two eateries (at recent count and many with lake views), a dance club, numerous live music bar/restaurants including a <a href="https://www.hardrock.com/cafes/myrtle-beach/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Hard Rock Café</a>, and a comedy club! Looking for a romantic venue? When the sun goes down, the <a href="https://marshwalk.com/">Marshwalk at Murrells Inlet</a> lights up the night! Murrells Inlet, on the south end of Myrtle Beach, features local live talent and a grand selection of seafood, steak s and happy hour bars offering delicious appetizers. Walk towards the middle of the boardwalk to spot goats noshing on grass on their very own island and take a stroll to the edge of the pier and watch as a variety of wildlife fly by – get the camera ready for photo opportunities!
 
Filling days and nights with laughter, fun and song (and golf, of course) is the formula for success which has catapulted Myrtle Beach from beach town to major vacation destination – make the most of it!
