<p>How do you hit lower trajectory golf shots? Maybe some of you are hitting really high lofted shots and you&#8217;re just tired of it. You want to lower that trajectory. Well, I&#8217;m going to give you a few suggestions. You can try one, you can try all to see what worked for you. The first suggestion is this. Try choking down on your club, maybe about two inches off the butt of the club just like this. Also, you can change your ball position. Maybe your ball position is too forward, or maybe it&#8217;s a little bit too neutral. You can place the ball a little bit further back in your stance toward your trail foot, so that will give you a little bit steeper angle of descent coming down at impact. And that should help lower the trajectory some. So, you can play around with ball position.</p>

<p>Also, you may want to choose a less lofted club. So, maybe instead of grabbing your six iron, maybe grab a five iron. Maybe try using your three wood. Choose clubs that naturally have less loft, so that may help you as well. And then lastly, when it comes to impact, make sure that your hands are always staying in front of the ball. So, as you take that club back and you come down, watch my hands, my hands are staying in front. I&#8217;m not doing this. So, if my wrists start to release too early or I&#8217;m flipping my wrist, well, what&#8217;s going to happen is that club face naturally it&#8217;s just going to open up and then you&#8217;re going to get that loft again. So, those are just a few tips that will help you.</p>

<p>I&#8217;m going to go ahead and set up to a ball here, and you can watch me hit this shot. So, again, as I&#8217;m setting up, a few things that I like to do is just walk through my own pre-shot routine for a lower trajectory shot, everything that I just mentioned to you. So, as I&#8217;m getting set up, I&#8217;m working on my aim and alignment, I&#8217;m choking down about two inches on the club. And I&#8217;m delofting the face maybe just a smidgen, not too much. Ball is slightly back. Again, you can play around with trajectory and ball position. Now, when I swing, my goal is really just to keep the hands forward. All right, so here we go.</p>

<p>I struck that really well. Nice and solid there. I actually made a nice little divot, so that was great. That was a little bit lower than my natural shot. Again, play around with each of these elements in the swing and see what works for you. But those are some steps to have lower trajectory golf shots. I hope that they help you.</p>
