Pine Lakes Country Club a Definite Fall Golf Bucket List Item

Meredith:            Hey, everyone. We are at the beautiful and historical Pine Lakes Country Club, The Granddaddy of golf in Myrtle Beach. And joining me today is Head Golf Professional, Jonathan Brock. Jonathan, thanks for having us out.

Jonathan:            Thank you for coming, glad to have you.

Meredith:            Well, I want to tell our viewers the reasons why they need to get out here to Pine Lakes and book their next fall vacation.

Jonathan:            Well, first and foremost, it is the very first golf course in Myrtle Beach. It is called The Granddaddy, as you mentioned, opened in 1927. But not only do you get a great golf course, you almost get a history lesson for Myrtle Beach golf as well. We are home to the Myrtle Beach Golf Hall of Fame, we are the birthplace of Sports Illustrated, which we still have the magazine itself in our history hall area of the clubhouse.

Meredith:            That's amazing.

Jonathan:            Just so many cool features here. The course is always in great shape, we're centrally located, so it's easy to get to and from us, and the history. The mimosas, the chowder, the button ups, the ties, the knickers, the kilt, everything that comes with Pine Lakes makes for an unforgettable experience.Pine Lakes Hole #2

Meredith:            Absolutely and I love what you said about the history lesson. I tell my students that, when I'm recommending golf courses. I'm like, "You have to experience Pine Lakes because it truly is an experience." Not just great golf and mimosas and the clam chowder, but again, you just get to walk through history over 90 years here at Pine Lakes and you can't find that at any other course here in Myrtle Beach.

Jonathan:            That is correct. We are very unique, very different. You will not find another setting like this anywhere in Myrtle Beach. It's an experience that you'll never forget, if you chose to come play us here at Pine Lakes.

Meredith:            Absolutely. If you would like to book your next fall golf getaway, go to Also, can they reach you here at the course, Jonathan?

Jonathan:            They can. Our local number is listed, it's 843-315-7700. We're more than happy to book tee times, help you out in any way that we can.

Meredith:            All right, great. Folks, you gotta book your next fall golf getaway here. Come visit the historical Pine Lakes Golf and Country Club.
