Competitive junior golfers can register now for the Dustin Johnson World Junior Golf Championship at TPC Myrtle Beach February 23-25, 2018. Experience what its like to play on the PGA Tour and compete with premier players from across the world.
The invitational event is for boys and girls ages 13 to 18. You must be one of the first 90 players to apply by January 4 and meet one of several category requirements. You’ll have your name on your locker, placards on the range, and live scoring throughout the course to give you an experience similar to what World Champion Dustin Johnson has on Tour.
TPC Myrtle Beach is home of the tournament and the Dustin Johnson Golf School. The course was built to host Tour-level events. You’ll join the ranks of Tom Watson, Larry Wadkins, Gary Player, Lee Trevino, and Ray Floyd who have taken on the 18-hole, par 72 undulating course. Tom Fazio designed the course among environmentally-protected marshland with large red oaks and towering pines.
“We’re really looking forward to hosting the tournament again this year. It’s amazing to see the caliber of golfers in their teens. I expect we’ll eventually see some of them on the Tour.” said Matt Daly, head golf pro at TPC Myrtle Beach. “It’s a great time of year to visit the Myrtle Beach area. February usually brings us great weather to be out on the course.”
