<p>Hey, everyone. I am at Pine Lakes Country Club working on my chipping today, and I want to show you a really easy chipping drill. So this one is all about leading with your lead arm in the chipping motion. What we&#8217;re going to do is we&#8217;re going to actually remove our trail hand from the shot. I know, it sounds a little scary, but it&#8217;s not. So what I want you to do is I want you to get set up in your chipping stance. So feet are going to be narrow, you&#8217;re going to lean on your lead side, choke down a little bit. Once you get set up, I want you to remove your trail hand for me. I&#8217;m a right-handed golfer, so just my left hand is going to be on the handle. Now I&#8217;m going to go ahead and make the motion just one-handed.</p>

<p>Now, as you can see, my wrist did not break. So that is what this drill is about. You don&#8217;t want your wrist breaking during this motion. So you take it back, nice and easy, swing through. Just like that. Your wrists are not breaking. So if you have a tendency to scoop the ball like this, or you&#8217;re turning that club and the club&#8217;s turning over, that face is closing up during the motion, that&#8217;s not going to happen. So when you lead the club with your lead arm like this, your wrists are not going to break. So hit about maybe 10 or 15 balls just like this, get the feel of it, then go ahead and add your trail hand back on to the handle, and tell me if you do not see a difference. You&#8217;re going to love this drill.</p>
