The George Holliday Memorial Junior Golf Tournament is contested annually over three days during the Thanksgiving holiday, on Myrtle Beach National’s King’s North, SouthCreek and West Course. The event has become one of the nation’s premier junior golf competitions and includes PGA and LPGA Tour stars Lucas Glover, D.J. Trahan and Kristy McPherson among its past participants. We are celebrating our 55th Anniversary of this stellar junior golf event!

The George Holliday Memorial Junior Golf Tournament was established to honor a successful junior and collegiate golfer who was tragically killed in 1967 in an automobile accident at the age of 22. The Galivants Ferry, S.C. native believed that his experience as a junior golfer was paramount in molding him into the fine young man he became. His family created this tournament to give more junior golfers an opportunity to compete in a high-caliber tournament setting.
(Participants must be ages 18 years or younger as of November 23, 2023. 18-year-old participants must still be enrolled in High School)
Congratulations to Elijah Felty from North Chesterfield, VA, the overall Champion of the 55th George Holliday Memorial Junior Tournament and to Jillian Fatkin from Oak Island, NC, the girl's Champion!
