Hey guys, I'm Dale Ketola. We're out here at the Grande Dunes Golf Performance Center. We're out here on the range today, and today I'm gonna give you a tip on weight shift. A lot of you amateur golfers in your mind think that a weight shift means that you've gotta go to your right leg and then you've gotta go to your left leg on the downswing. Issue with that is we don't have enough time to do all that in the golf swing, so I've got this orange line here and the best ball strikers I see, when they turn, this stays fairly close to that orange line and then they're turned and then they can shift a little this way and then they're into their finish. So if you're creating a lot of space between your left hip and this line, you'll never get back over there by the time you hit the ball. So you want to try and stay more centered on your backswing, and not necessarily try and go to the right. A lot of you amateur golfers are trying to go to the right, so more center, if anything you shift left and hit.
I hope that helps you. If you have any problems with your game, look us up, give us a call.
