<p><a href="https://www.mbn.com/course/myrtle-beach-national-kings-north">King’s North at Myrtle Beach National</a> has officially begun the second stage of its two-part renovation, closing the back nine on May 26, 2025, for a full redesign led by architect Brandon Johnson. The project follows the successful transformation of the front nine completed in summer 2024, as the renowned Arnold Palmer design undergoes a complete modernization.</p>

<p>Johnson, who spent 17 years with the Arnold Palmer Design Group, brought a bold and strategic vision to the front nine—raising bunker profiles, reshaping green complexes, and leaning into the course’s rugged character. His enhancements introduced greater visibility and strategic variety, especially noticeable from the first hole onward.</p>

<p>This two-stage approach allowed <strong>Founders Group International (FGI)</strong>, which owns and operates the course, to keep <a href="https://www.mbn.com/course/myrtle-beach-national-kings-north">King’s North</a> partially open while giving Johnson creative freedom and ample time to execute the redesign. Each phase was scheduled in a dedicated four-month window, providing eight months total for the renovation without compromising quality.</p>
