<p>Myrtle Beach is home to nearly as many bachelor parties as it is golf trips. The beach, nightlife, and restaurants make this the perfect place to celebrate the end of your days as a single man (or woman).&nbsp;</p>

<p>For a lot of groups, a bachelor party also includes a round of golf, allowing everyone to get the blood pumping after a long night on the town. If you are planning a Myrtle Beach bachelor party and looking for the ideal course to play, here are five leading candidates:</p>

<p>● Let’s be real; Even if you are the most avid of players, there will likely be a few people in the group who are more interested in what happens off the course, and those people need to be taken into account as well. There is no reason to bring a 25-handicap operating on three hours sleep to <u><a href="https://www.mbn.com/courses/prestwick-country-club">Prestwick Country Club.</a></u> Conversely, the <u><a href="https://www.mbn.com/courses/myrtle-beach-national-west-course">West Course at Myrtle Beach Nationa</a></u>l <em>(top photo)</em> is ideal for such players. It’s the easiest course in the market, according to the USGA’s slope and rating system, it’s value-priced, and it enjoys close proximity to the beach. Good players can go low, and high handicappers won’t be swearing they will never play again. That’s a win for everyone.&nbsp;</p>

<p>● <u><a href="https://www.mbn.com/courses/myrtlewood-golf-club-palmetto">The Palmetto Course at Myrtlewood</a></u> is playable but that’s only half its appeal. The layout has been in stunning condition since a 2019 renovation brought new greens and bunkers, but even more importantly, this is the area’s most conveniently located facility. Myrtlewood is in the heart of town, just off 48th Avenue North, and the Palmetto Course finishes along the Intracoastal Waterway, a perfect spot for a bachelor party picture everyone will recall fondly in 20 years.&nbsp;</p>

<p>● If your group is staying along the North Strand, Beachwood Golf Club is worth checking out. The round won’t break the bank, the fairways are wide, and the greens are receptive. This is a place you can&nbsp;enjoy some stress-free fun and have a chance to score.&nbsp;</p>

<p>● Bachelor parties that want outstanding golf and convenience should have the <u><a href="https://www.mbn.com/courses/grande-dunes">Grande Dunes Resort Course</a></u>&nbsp;<em>(pictured right)</em> atop their list. Located in Myrtle Beach, Grande Dunes features five holes that play along the&nbsp;Intracoastal Waterway, including the dramatic par 3 14th, and it’s home to some of the area’s widest fairways. With the Anchor Cafe, a small bar located just across the intracoastal, visible from the ninth fairway, your first post-golf stop will be easily within reach as well. (Editor’s Note: Grande Dunes will be closed from mid-May to mid-September for the installation of new greens and bunkers but will reopen as an even better course, and that’s saying something)</p>

<p>● If you don’t mind the drive to Pawleys Island, <u><a href="https://www.mbn.com/courses/caledonia-golf-and-fish-club">Caledonia</a></u> might be the ultimate bachelor party course. The stunning live oak trees, a layout that will challenge but not overwhelm, and the impeccable landscaping are just some of what make a round on the Mike Strantz design special. Also, make sure you leave time for lunch on the porch.&nbsp;</p>
